This dress is totally outside my comfort zone, but when I saw it on the rack at the most recent Rent the Runway Sample Sale, something compelled me to pick it up. Maybe it was the color, or the fact that it was under $50 (from an original of $350), but it ended up being a great decision. Although I usually opt for A-line dresses, the placement of the peplum is super flattering, and the pencil skirt hugs my curves just right. I wore this outfit for rehearsal dinner number two on our vacation last month. It was perfect for the occasion and a gorgeous evening in wine country!
