Sequin Dress

A few months ago, I was browsing the racks at TJ Maxx looking for a dress for my cousin’s wedding when I came upon a beautiful sequin one-shoulder. I knew it was too dressy for a fall wedding in Cleveland, but I just couldn’t leave without it. As you know, I’m a sucker for a great deal, and this Trina Turk dress (yes, really) was marked down to $59.99…originally $200+! I had nowhere to wear it, but I bought it anyway, and when New Year’s Eve came around, I knew that the unofficial ‘night of sequins’ was the perfect time to debut this beauty.

We decided last minute to host at our place, and ended up only having a few people. I was definitely overdressed for spending most of the night with my husband and the guys, but I didn’t mind.

I’ll be sharing my style resolutions for 2014 in the coming days. But for now, here’s to a new year with extra sparkle!
