This outfit combines several aspects of last week’s posts. I’m beginning to realize that I have a pretty well-defined style pattern, especially when it comes to color. Most days, I end up wearing black and white (or other neturals) with pops of color in my accessories, shoes and jewelry. This means that the black and white Spring trend will be a cinch, but I also want to push myself outside my comfort zone. Right here, right now, I’m setting a style goal to wear more color and less neutrals! Help keep me accountable, will you?
That said, I love this outfit. I got the velour tunic several years ago at NY & Company, and I absolutely love it. I was a little hesitant of velour at first because it reminded me of the track suits I wore as a kid. But, it’s actually super comfortable and warm and can look sophisticated with the right pieces. I’ve worn it with leggings and tights, belted and loose, with long and short necklaces.
