While many bloggers and fashion lovers were flocking to New York City at the end of last week, I was leaving. Although it was a big week in the fashion world, it was also a very important time in the Jewish world. I spent a few days on Long Island celebrating Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) with my family. As the daughter of a rabbi, the major fall holidays are a big deal in my house. They’re also when all of the people show up, so I always spend extra time figuring out my outfits. For the first night, I went for chiffon and a basic black blazer. My mom asked me if I was wearing a dress, so I guess that means these two pieces paired well together! Oh, and I wore heels! The round toe and block heel of this pair make them extra comfy, and I love the different textures in the subtle stripes.
