New Year’s Eve Outfit Inspiration

It’s hard to believe that Christmas has already come and gone, and the New Year will be here next week! Today I’m sharing some New Year’s Eve outfit inspiration for ladies who aren’t so into sequins and sparkle. You can totally look dressy and festive without it, and you can even wear pants! The key? Lace, velvet or some other texture that will elevate your look.

I opted to double up on the lace, with a peplum top in a pretty shade of green and the most amazingly comfortable lace pants. Spoiler alert: they have an elastic waist!

A couple of beauty notes: I shared on Insta the other day that I tried a new life-changing product for curly hair! (Props to People StyleWatch for featuring it recently.) Often my curls get crushed from sleeping and they’re never as defined on day two…until now. Garnier’s Curl Renew gives your hair a dry shampoo-like refresh, but it’s built for curly hair. It’s a darker shade than I’ve worn before, but I wanted to try a bolder lip, and this shade from Maybelline was the perfect compliment to my green top.
