This outfit is all about color, texture and trying new things. I can’t remember the last time I wore something yellow, aside from my high school graduation robe (and I won’t even tell you how long ago that was!) It’s just not a color I usually gravitate towards, but when I saw this pastel eyelet skirt on sale at Ann Taylor a couple of weeks ago, I decided to try it on. I love the subtle chevron and it paired perfectly with a cropped black lace top. The truth is, you just never know, so it’s always worth trying things on…especially if they’re on sale!
