Lucky FABB Day One

Last week, I spent two days at Lucky Magazine’s Fashion and Beauty Bloggers Conference, otherwise known as Lucky FABB. Attending FABB has been a dream of mine since I started this blog, and I was honored and excited when I was invited to attend. More than 300 bloggers and brands gathered to learn and network.The first day included style conversations with Lucky’s new Editor-in-Chief, Eva Chen, and celebrities/fashion lovers Eva Mendes and Kate Bosworth. Both Evas and Kate were all totally adorable, down to Earth, and (of course) impeccably dressed.

Day one also included panels on subjects ranging from how to turn your readers into your advocates, to where to post what when it comes to sharing content on social media. Seasoned bloggers like Erica Domesek (P.S. – I Made This…), Gabi Gregg (GABIFRESH), and Lindsay Calla (Saucy Glossie) shared their insight. We also heard from one of my Twitter faves: Aliza Licht aka DKNY PR Girl!

Here’s a snap of what I wore the first day. Excuse the poor lighting, but you can clearly see that faux leather was the theme. It was also the definition of high-low style, with the Stuart Weitzman boots I won from Bloomie’s and an H&M crop top.
