I’ve been growing out my hair for a while, but I didn’t realize quite how long it was until I straightened it last week! Usually, I get to about this point…then decide I’m bored, and get a haircut. This time though, I’m really trying to keep growing strong! What do you think? Long hair or short?
I took these photos in Central Park with my tripod. It was so beautiful in the fading light, and there were plenty of people enjoying an evening stroll, despite the chill in the air. I like to spend some time in New York City’s parks when I can. Having grown up in the suburbs, I find that I really miss the trees and open space sometimes. Such is city life!

I like it long – & straight is so different! Sometimes it’s fun to change it up. I straightened mine once last week, too, which I hadn’t done for months. This is the longest my hair has been in ages. When I saw an old friend last week, she reminded me of my faux-hawk stage…
