This weekend was unseasonably warm in NYC, and everyone definitely took advantage. Yesterday, I went to Central Park with my best friend Elena for a hot chocolate date and there were so many people out and about. Normally crowds are not my favorite, but it was actually so nice to see the city alive and well, and there was enough space to feel safe. All I needed was some light layers, so I took this new houndstooth number for a spin. I was influenced by Jessica of The Steele Maiden, who styled it so beautifully. I love that houndstooth is such a bold pattern, even in black and white, and I decided to add a pop of color to my look. We stopped on Park Avenue to snap these pictures by the twinkly lights. So festive!
On Saturday night, we celebrated Hanukkah virtually with some of our closest friends. We’ve actually been gathering on Zoom almost every week since March, and it’s been a silver lining of this challenging year. Sometimes it’s only a few of us, but it’s such a blessing to be able to check in on each other and stay connected. I’m feeling especially grateful and blessed as we near the end of 2020!
