Last week, I shared my love of J.Crew Factory (and their 50% off sale!), and this outfit is just further proof of my obsession. They showed this leopard sweater layered over a button down in one of their emails, and I loved the combo so much that I bought them both. I feel like the short sleeved sweater is the chic cousin of the sweater vest, and it just adds so much more versatility to your fall wardrobe. Their original look was paired with a denim skirt, but I opted for black jeans and booties. I also added one of my favorite statement necklaces and topped it off with a leather jacket.
This is what I wore to work and a blogger networking event. I felt really good in this outfit and definitely had a little extra pep in my step…until I decided to walk 30 something blocks to the event in these booties. They’re pretty comfortable, but they were not made for that much walking! I’m still making it up to my feet, but at least I looked cute! (Plus, the view at the event space was totally worth it!)
My work bag is from Dagne Dover, and I won it in a giveaway earlier this year. Honestly, DD bags are a bit pricey, but so durable and mine really helps keep me organized.
