Clearly the leopard dress is a staple in my fall wardrobe! This one is a lot less subtle (and a little sexier!) than the one I shared last week, but that made it perfect for a weekend date night. Our 7th wedding anniversary is tomorrow, and since we’ll be with my in-laws for Yom Kippur, we decided to celebrate a little early. We went to dinner in our neighborhood, and then picked up some frozen yogurt and came home to Bones…basically our idea of a perfect night. In some ways, it’s hard to believe it’s been seven years, and in other ways, it feels like our wedding was a long time ago!
I really love this dress, but unfortunately, the fit is a bit off for someone with curves. There’s a snap to keep the top in place, but it wasn’t in the right place for me, so I took it out. Instead, I put a safety pin in, but that wasn’t the best solution either and I still felt a little self-conscious. That said, I still love leopard print and I’m really excited to continue incorporating it into my fall wardrobe. It’s a bold print, but it’s so fun to wear and goes with everything! If you’re afraid to go all out, try a pair of leopard flats or a belt. I bet you’ll feel pretty fierce!
