Have you ever thought you lost something from your closet, and then magically found it again? That’s what happened with this (faux) leather sweater when we moved to our new apartment! I got the sweater as a gift at a blogger event with Lulu*s a couple of years ago and I hadn’t seen it for quite a while. When I was packing up my clothes, it appeared out of nowhere, and I was really excited to wear it again. The (faux) leather front gives any outfit a little edge, so I decided to pair it with a feminine pleated midi skirt.
I’ve seen a lot of backless loafers and mules in magazines and on bloggers. A lot of options were more than I wanted to spend on a trend, but since I love flats, I wanted to give it a try. So, I went to DSW on a lunch break and tried on two pairs from Franco Sarto. This patent leather pair seemed like it would be the most versatile, and I didn’t feel like I would be losing my shoes on the sidewalks of Midtown. They rubbed a bit on my toes, but were otherwise pretty comfortable, and I loved how they looked with this outfit.
