One day a couple of months ago, I took a lunchtime stroll down to Soho and popped into MANGO. I was only browsing and didn’t need anything, but when I saw this gorgeous leather mini skirt, I had to try it on. The color is a perfect shade of maroon, and it’s made of the most supple leather. It snaps closed, which is helpful, but also a bit hazardous if you’re doing a lot of bending. I love how it looks here with a simple black sweater and over-the-knee boots. It will also look cute with tights and a heavier sweater when the weather gets colder.
Speaking of cold weather, it was bitter cold over Thanksgiving, but we still had a great time! We spent five days at my mom’s on Long Island. It was so nice to be together and not have much on the agenda. My in-laws came for Thanksgiving, and we celebrated Bones’ 5th birthday, which happened to be that day. Now, that Thanksgiving is over, the holiday season is already in full swing. I shared my first gift guide last week and another one will be up tomorrow. If there’s anyone you need help shopping for, let me know. And remember: Hanukkah is early this year and starts on Sunday, December 2! If you’re looking for the best Cyber Monday sales today, check out this post, which I’ve been updating all weekend.
