Leather, Lace + Leopard

There are so many things I love about this dress…it’s lace, classic black, and polka dotted! So, even though I last wore it in the warmth of Texas, I found a way to style it for a frigid December day. All it took was a (faux) leather vest and a pair of tights. Sometimes you just have embrace the all black uniform of New York City and add your own flavor. For me, it was the subtle pattern mixing of sheer on sheer. I also used the vest to give a little more of a defined shape to this sheath dress. And, in case you ever doubt my dedication to this blog and my dear readers, I couldn’t really feel my toes after this shoot…but it was worth it!
