I had my last two random holiday days off earlier this week, and although it was chilly, Bones and I took full advantage of the clear sky daylight hours. On Tuesday, we spent some time in Carl Schurz Park on the East River with our friend Mackenzie. I love this little park, tucked into the Upper East Side. It has two dog runs, lots of green space, and plenty of beautiful folliage at this time of year. Since I knew we would be outside for a while, I opted for layering neutrals for a comfortable, warm look.
I love a thin cotton turtleneck for fall. It looks great under a sleeveless dress or a short sleeve sweater, and works perfectly under chambray or a flannel button down. Also such a fan of Charming Charlie right now. I spotted this backpack on their Snapchat during Fashion Week and stopped by the store to snatch one up for myself a couple of days later. It’s super cute and holds a lot, but it’s not expensive, so you can totally bring it anywhere without worrying.
Happy pre-Friday! Who’s dressing up for Halloween? My husband is actually getting into it this year and we’ll be wearing coordinating costumes with an 80s theme. Make sure you’re following me on Instagram for hilarious pics!
