As much as I love dressing up and getting creative with my style, sometimes you just have to throw on cutoffs and a tee. This is what I wore when my friend Carolyn and I headed up to Marshalls over the weekend to do some shopping. As I hinted at on Twitter and Facebook recently, I was chosen as one of 50 fashion lovers chosen to take part in Marshalls’ Project Fab. I will be sharing more about the project (and my fabulous Marshalls haul) later this week, so stay tuned! The shopping plaza we went to is right along the East River, so we had to snap a few pictures before we left. Say hello to my laid-back weekend look! Easy, comfortable, with minimal jewelry and just enough color.

Agreed! You’ll generally find me in jeans/shorts and a T on the weekends running around like a mad woman getting my errands done! Can’t wait to read about what you got at Marshalls.
Right? It’s definitely possible to look cute in jeans/shorts in a tee…and it’s just so much easier to run around and check things off the to do list 🙂
