Confidence hasn’t always come easy to me, and it’s still something I struggle with on a regular basis. But, when I put on this red dress in a TJ Maxx dressing room a few weeks ago, I felt truly sexy and beautiful. I think the tendency for pears is to try to hide our curves. Even my favorite A-line silhouette is a bit of a mask. But, if you have a shape, don’t be afraid to show it off! Look for flattering necklines, and details on the waist like ruching or seams that draw attention to and slim your waist. When you see something you like on a hanger, try it on before you judge how it will look on you. The truth is, you never know, and it’s often the most adventures outfits that make us feel the best about ourselves.
I wore “the red dress” to my cousin’s wedding in Cleveland. It was flattering and super comfortable. Perfect for dancing! Speaking of surprisingly comfortable, I kept these heels on all night! That’s a big deal for me, so major props to Naturalizer!

Yes! I actually find that wearing more structured pieces with firmer fabrics is more flattering than A-line shapes. Flaunt what ya got!
Amen!
