The first new outfit post in a month! I’m so excited to be back sharing style inspiration, especially during my favorite season. I’m usually game to try a trend before I make a judgement, but I wasn’t sure about western boots. I am 0% country, so I didn’t know if they would work for me. But, once I thought about how to style western boots in a way that was true to me, I made it work. It also helps that this particular pair is more like a western/Chelsea hybrid. While I did pair them with a denim dress, I layered it with a chic striped sweater. I love a sweater that hits at the waist, especially over an otherwise shapeless dress.
As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, this unintentional hiatus was mostly due to computer issues. But, it’s been a whirlwind of a month dealing with some family issues, and Seth and I both getting sick. We did travel to Denver for a weekend to spend time with Rob’s extended family and see some friends. It was a little crazy, as travel with a toddler always is, but so nice. This weekend, we’re getting out of the city for a little dose of fall. If you’ve been a reader for a while, you probably know that my little New England heart needs an annual dose of foliage and everything apple. We took Seth apple picking last year, but he definitely didn’t appreciate it. Hopefully he’ll love it as much as we do!
