When you’re shaped like a pear, with wider hips and a smaller waist, the go-to dress tends to be the A-line. While I love the silhouette it creates, I’ve also discovered that we curvy girls can wear more form-fitting dresses too. Although it might be scary to accentuate your curves, if you find a dress with the right details, I bet you will learn to love your curves even more. So, when you’re shopping for this year’s holiday party, don’t be afraid to flaunt what you’ve got! Note: If you need a more gradual change, try the fit and flare style, a slightly more body-hugging version of A-line.
