In case you missed the insta-announcement, we adopted a puppy last weekend! He is super cute, but definitely a handful. Honestly, I’ve been spending most days in sweats trying to teach him that fingers are not for eating. Fortunately, my friend Carolyn snapped these pictures pre-puppy on a very cold day last month. This outfit is one of those that I throw on when it’s cold and I don’t feel like wearing real clothes.I was also very excited to wear my new felt cloche! I’ve never been much of a hat person, but in an effort to expand my style horizons this year, I set out in search of a versatile ladylike hat that wouldn’t break the bank. Although I looked online, I think hats are something that you need to try on in person, especially if you’re just dipping your toes in the water.
