On Saturday morning, my friend Marissa* and I headed downtown for the Gilt City Warehouse Sale. It was supposed to be a beautiful day, and I wanted to wear something I could easily change in and out of, so I opted for a graphic tee and jeans. Unfortunately, the sale wasn’t as good as previous years, but I did find a $53 pair of J.Brand jeans that fit me like a glove, so it was still worth going.
One of the things I love about this outfit is that it’s a combination of elevated wardrobe staples. A leather jacket is a must-have for spring, and definitely a worthwhile investment. I’ve had this one for so long I can’t even remember when I got it, and I wear it every year. I’m also a fan of a cheeky graphic tee, and this one just so happens to perfectly express my weekend plans! And how fun are these sneaks?! They’re really comfortable and they make such a statement! I’m kind of obsessed with sneakers right now, and I’m always tempted to buy more. At least my feet are happy!
*It’s really hard to make new friends in a big city, especially as an introvert. Having a dog has really forced me out of my comfort zone and made me talk to more people than I usually would. Every once in a while, both the dogs and the people connect, and all of a sudden you’re asking a near stranger for their number so you can set up playdates. Marissa and I live in the same building, and yet I don’t know that we would have given each other more than just a passing wave if we hadn’t crossed paths with our pups. Just one more reason I’m so lucky to have Bones in my life.

Oh, I love those sneakers – & I have the same tee, so I appreciate some insight into how the heck to style it.
Thank you! Excellent taste
