For the second night of Passover last week, we went out to my dad’s on Long Island. The train ride is over an hour each way, so I wanted to wear something comfortable. I’ve really been loving J.Crew’s selection over the past year or so (we’ll see if this changes now that Jenna’s gone!), and I scooped up this adorable gingham top as soon as I saw a discount code. Gingham is such a classic pattern, and the ties on the sleeves are a fun touch. You can also wear it more off the shoulder on a warmer day.
While skinny white jeans are definitely a spring wardrobe staple, I picked up this “girlfriend-style” pair to have another option. They have subtle white embroidered details on the sides, and they’re more of a relaxed fit than my skinnies.
I have a couple of days off work at the beginning of this week, and then we’re heading out of town for the weekend for a friend’s wedding in Florida. Although it can be a little stressful (and I always miss Bones), I’m really excited for all of the celebrating we get to do this year. We have five weddings between now and October, in Florida, Colorado, Massachusetts, California and Maryland. It’s so fun to travel and see new places, and there’s no such thing as too many happy occasions!
Sunnies: Ray-Ban, Earrings: Kate Spade (also love these), Top: J.Crew, Jeans: Gap, Shoes: Anne Klein, Bag: Old Navy (similar)
