If you saw yesterday’s outfit post, you know that I love the juxtaposition of something dressy with something casual. The idea that sequins and tulle are only for fancy, after-dark occasions is no longer true. You can (and should) wear these fancy fabrics during the day! Whether you go pencil or full, try pairing your skirt with a simple tee or sweatshirt. Denim jackets are the perfect topper to balance out a dressier bottom. More inspiration below:

I’ve really, really, really wanted a tulle skirt. I might borrow Meaghan’s to get the lust out of my veins. But, I’ve read more than one article on how “if you’re over 30 now is not the time to buy a tulle skirt.” Made me very sad!
