Let me preface this post by saying that the fact that “yellow” and “favorite” are in the same sentence is a big deal for me. Yellow is one of those colors (along with orange) that I just don’t wear. Nothing against the color itself…it just doesn’t look the best with my pale skin, and if I’m going to go neon, it will more than likely be pink. That said, “highlighter yellow” (aka citron) has been everywhere lately, and I’m totally impressed with how so many bloggers are styling this color. Whether yellow is your neon of choice or not, there are so many ways to wear brights this spring. Use them as your pops of color in shoes and accessories, look for a neon pattern, or pair one neon item with denim and/or neutral pieces. The options are endless, so go bold!
