Although denim shorts are (and probably always will be) a summer staple, sometimes you have to take your shorts game up a notch. The great thing about dressy shorts is that they’re usually super comfortable and lightweight, perfect for hot days and warm nights. I usually pair my denim shorts with a colorful and/or patterned top. This works with dressy shorts too, or you can go for a neutral top to make the detailing stand out.
