Flattering Denim Shorts

One more outfit from Florida, featuring a vacation/summer staple: denim shorts! I like this pair because they’re a flattering length, and have just the right amount of stretch to be comfortable, but still fitted. I wore them a couple of times on our trip, but this outfit was for lunch one afternoon. I paired my denim shorts with a striped off-the-shoulder top (previously seen here) and my favorite espadrille sneakers.

This weekend was a fun one! I got back on Friday from a work trip to DC, and I was so happy to see my guys! As nice as it was to have a little time to myself, I definitely missed them. On Saturday night, we celebrated my work wife’s birthday with the rest of the work squad. It was great to spend time with everyone outside of the office! Yesterday, my bestie and I went to see the Cruel Intentions Musical at (le) poisson rouge. It was AMAZING! The actors are all so talented and they have the most amazing voices. The show is basically the plot of the movie, interwoven with topically relevant 90s songs that everyone sings along to…so much fun!
