When I read the reviews of this dress, some people thought it gave off “Little House on the Prairie” vibes. I can totally see that, with the pattern and the puff sleeves. But with most things, it’s all about how you style it. I like wearing a feminine dress with boots to add a little edge. Styling my hair more casually, plus choosing round sunglasses and ear jackets instead of delicate accessories, provide contrast. If it’s cooler, you can also add a leather or denim jacket.
This is what I wore to brunch on Saturday. We met up with our friend Sarah and her parents, who we’ve known for 20 years. It’s so nice to spend time with people who have traveled through life with you, and it was great to introduce them to Seth. Little man spent most of last week at home while we waited for Covid test results after a teacher tested positive. Fortunately, he was negative, and I am incredibly grateful that we have (retired) grandparents nearby. Tomorrow, I have the day off of work for a Jewish holiday and I have some very exciting things planned! Make sure you’re following me on Instagram to tag along!
