I spotted this dress on H&M’s website a few months ago, and I loved the feminine details. It’s made of a lightweight sweatshirt material, but the collar and the tiered design totally elevate the look. You can easily dress it up with pretty accessories like I did here. I stuck with a pearl theme and kept it simple. This dress is non-maternity so I sized up. I thought it was a little longer when I first tried it on, but that could just be because the bump has grown!
One thing I love about these photos is that they’re so quintessentially New York City. In some of them, you can see the beautiful Met Museum in the background. Others feature a picturesque Upper East Side block…but there are also grates, cars and trash cans sprinkled in to keep it real. Only a block away is Central Park. Over the past year, I’ve come to appreciate our neighborhood even more. We have a lot of the conveniences and benefits of city life: restaurants and bars (that deliver), stores nearby, museums, the subway, etc. But it’s also incredibly dog and family-friendly. It’s quiet, but not too quiet, and there are beautiful places to escape (indoors and outdoors). It’s been a hard year for NYC, but we’re still here. I can’t wait to see this city reinvigorated in the weeks and months to come!
