The transition to fall in New York City has been slow and steady. We have a few days in the low 70s, and then it sneaks back into the 80s again. The mornings and evenings are crisp, but by mid-afternoon, it’s just plain gorgeous. I love when the temperature is in the 60s and 70s…still warm enough for bare legs, but cool enough for layering with light sweaters and jackets. This outfit was all about texture. The open weave of the sweater, paired with the silky skirt, plus suede booties and what is already my favorite fall bag. This is a little more dressed up than I often get on Fridays, but I had the opportunity to attend a very special event that morning. Check back tomorrow to find out where I went!
