Like a lot of things during the holiday season, I love the idea of a fair isle sweater, but I didn’t want one in red and green. When I spotted this bright beauty on Ann Taylor’s Instagram, I was in love! Of course, it wasn’t available online yet, and then it sold out quickly. But, I was patient and kept checking back, and finally made it mine. Persistence pays off! I love the vibrant pink, and it’s so soft and comfortable too.
After a lot of back and forth, we decided to go to my mom’s for Thanksgiving. All three of us got COVID tests beforehand (which came back negative), kept to our own space, and wore masks whenever we were closer together. Rob and I have our own bedroom and bathroom when we’re there, and the table is long enough to be spread out, so we felt okay. I know a lot of people stayed home, and I totally respect that, but assuming we all stay healthy, I’m really glad we went for a lot of reasons. We came back earlier than we would have in a regular year, but it was actually nice to then have the weekend at home. I hope you got to take some time off and celebrate the best way you could! PS: Updated my Black Friday list with Cyber Monday deals if you’re shopping.
