I ordered this embroidered daisy dress on a whim a couple of weeks ago and I’m obsessed. It’s from Zara, which can be hit or miss size-wise for me. I sized up to a Large and it works with the bump. These photos turned out so beautifully and I just love how this outfit came together! I wore this outfit to Central Park on Saturday to celebrate our friend Paige‘s birthday. It was the perfect afternoon with such great company! We spent time with old friends and made some new ones too. So many people were out and there was a palpable sense of relief and joy.
On Friday, I got my hair cut and colored, and it turned out perfectly! Usually I go for more dramatic highlights, but I wanted something that was easier maintenance for when baby comes. My stylist Jay is the absolute best and I highly recommend him if you’re in NYC. We got to see our friend Sarah on Saturday too, and yesterday we had our virtual baby celebration with family.
Over the past year, I’ve grown to appreciate a lot of things about virtual life (especially while pregnant). While I get sick of staring at the screen and I miss seeing people in person, it’s also a blessing to be able to connect and celebrate with people from all over the country. I’m also so grateful for all of the support we have as we begin this next chapter of life. It’s honestly getting a little scarier the closer we get, but I know I’ve got a village behind me.
