I would like to give the most giant hug to whoever figured out a way to make drawstring pants trendy. Joggers, as they’re often called in the fashion world, are unbelievably comfy, and if you style them right, you can look totally put together and chic. This pair from H&M totally passes for work pants because of the texture and the pleats. I always look for details like this when I’m shopping a fast fashion retailer because it makes things look more expensive than they are. To make sure my drawstring pants were suitable for the office, I paired them with layered blouses of different patterns. For the commute, I added a denim jacket.
P.S. Notice anything different? I chopped off a couple of inches of hair earlier this week and added some red-brown highlights…what do you think? I’m still getting used to it, but I think it will be a fun change for fall!
Sunnies: Ray-Ban, Jean Jacket: Old Navy, Striped blouse: Forever 21 (similar), Sheer plaid blouse: LOFT (similar), Necklace: Banana Republic Factory Store (similar), Pants; H&M, Loafers: MIA (similar)
They look so comfyyyy and omg yes, thank you to whomever made the universal decision that they could be work-appropriate. Love all your layering on top too!
Thanks lady! I haven’t really been into pants lately lol, but the drawstring definitely helps 🙂
