In the words of Fergie, I’ve been ‘working on my fitness,’ so I was really excited when Shefit asked me to give their Ultimate Sports Bra a try. Shefit understands that a good sports bra is hard to find, so they focused on creating one with a custom fit. The sizing is based on measurements, instead of just your traditional cup and band size, and the straps are attached by velcro, so they’re easy to adjust.
These photos were taken on a weekend trip to the park, but I also put the bra to the test at the gym earlier this week. It’s super supportive, and I liked that I could loosen it a little bit on the go (without worrying about exposing myself!). If you’re in between sizes and hoping to lose a little weight, this bra will adjust with you as your body changes. You can also change up the fit depending on the intensity of your workout.
My major issue with sports bras, aside from fit, is that they’re not the most comfortable and I’m always eager to take them off when I get home. This one was a little bit better, but it wasn’t like I wanted to wear it all night long. That said, I love the bright color, and it’s definitely going to be part of my regular gym bag rotation for the foreseeable future.
P.S. This is me with second-day hair, no makeup, nothing Photoshopped…in a bra! I’m definitely not where I want to be with my body right now, but I’m proud of myself for working my way there. The hardest part is motivating myself to go to the gym after work when all I want to do is come home, but I always feel so much better after I go. If you’re struggling to get into an exercise routine, just keep pushing yourself and remember that every step in the right direction counts!
