Corduroy Skirt

Serious fall vibes in this corduroy skirt! It was perfect for a special weekend date night paired with a bodysuit and a little bit of leopard. This Wednesday is our eight year wedding anniversary! But, since we never know what time Rob will get home during the week (#lawyerlife), our only plan is to order in dinner so I don’t have to cook. While that will be lovely, we also wanted to go out for a nice meal, so we did that this weekend.

One of the most wonderful problems about living in New York City is that there are so many good restaurants. We have favorites, but we also like to try new places. This time we went to BLACKBARN in Nomad. We’d never been there before, but we will definitely be back! The food was delicious, the space was amazing, and it had such a fun vibe. I ordered the crispy skinned chicken, which was incredibly flavorful, and Rob really enjoyed his duck breast pastrami and sausage. We were so full that we weren’t planning on ordering dessert, but they brought us a complimentary scoop of ice cream with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate. It was so thoughtful, and a great way to celebrate!
