I’ve never really been cool, and although it was a struggle in my teenage years, I’m totally okay with it as an adult. But, certain outfits make me feel like a different version of myself, and this one is giving total cool girl vibes. I don’t know if it’s the print or the silhouette, but it’s working! This outfit is another example of how you can totally rock a bold pattern if you’ve got curves. I also feel like this style of pant with a platform shoe elongates my legs, which I always appreciate. This set is from Mango, and they have a bunch of other ones that are perfect for spring.
As I mentioned in last week’s post, we spent the weekend in Cincinnati for our friends’ wedding celebration (postponed from 2020). We had so much fun, and the ceremony was absolutely beautiful. There is truly nothing like seeing your friends happy. While we were there, we had a chance to visit the zoo and see the hippos. If you know me, you know that hippos are my favorite, and I passed that on to Seth. He had the cutest reaction when the baby hippo swam by right on the other side of the glass. I also introduced him to Graeter’s Ice Cream, which is in my top five desserts. I love these little moments, and I’m so grateful that Seth is a good traveler. Lots of exciting things to come in the next couple of months. Can’t wait to share!
