Last week, I replied to a tweet on a whim, and ended up with a fantastic opportunity to attend an event sponsored by Kenmore. The well-known appliance brand is celebrating its 100th Anniversary, and the launch of a new recipe-sharing site. Although I don’t post about food (yet?), I do love to cook, and often share photos of my home-cooked dinners on Instagram.
The event was held in a loft in midtown, and featured a walk-through tour of Kenmore appliances through the years. These pretties were my favorite:
And it was fun to see how appliances have changed over time:
Later in the evening, Kari Karsh, Kenmore’s in-house chef, set up shop in the makeshift test kitchen and cooked up some yummy treats.
She was adorable in her pink chef’s coat and heels, and so funny! To top it off, her food was amazing too.

Thanks to the Chicago Blogger Network for the hook up!
So great to meet Grace of Gracenotes NYC, and reconnect with the lovely Jessie of Style & Pepper!
P.S. Remember to vote for me in the Muse Apparel Blogger Style-Off! Thank you
This is so cool! Man… no blogger events in Central Jersey. Wommmmp.
