Earlier this week, we had our first snow sighting in NYC. It didn’t amount to anything more than flurries, but the temperatures stayed chilly through mid-week. When it’s cold enough for snow, all I want to do is cuddle under the covers…but, since I had to leave the house and go to work, I opted for a chunky knit and comfy pants. Also, this jacket: it’s lightweight twill, with a removable furry lining, and absolutely perfect for fall and early winter. I got it with a gift card I won in a Gap Instagram contest, and it was seriously one of my best buys of all time. Parkas. Check ’em out!

Love functional winter jackets! I’m a massive fan of winter, but I usually look like the abdominal snowman because I’m so bundled up. I might be a tad bit over prepared!

Better over-prepared than under-prepared! Winter jackets, and jackets in general, are kind of my favorite right now
I asked for this jacket for the holidays last year after seeing it on your blog.
Woohoo! Jacket twins
pretty necklace!

Thanks, Merritt! I love that it’s chunky, but still feminine.
