After two years of living in loungewear, I decided it was time to step up my game. While I love my Lou & Grey Signature Soft, this cashmere loungewear set from Naadam is on another level. I decided to go for the cable knit for a little texture, and I think in the white it actually looks chic. Full disclosure: I got this set when Naadam had a sale, so the price point was more bearable. I do think it’s worth it, but if you want something similar for less, check out these cotton-cashmere pullover and joggers.
These boots are also a new acquisition. I was debating between four pairs, and I posted a poll on Instagram. It was one of my highest response rates ever, and this pair was nearly tied with one other. But, I liked the other pair in black, and I have a lot of black boots, so these won. I love the sherpa and the lug sole is very on trend right now.
This weekend, we got to spend time with several of our parents. We drove out to my mom’s on Saturday, and my in-laws came to us on Sunday. We’ve always been grateful to have all of our parents close by, but even more so since Seth was born. It’s so amazing to see our parents as grandparents, and Seth is always happy to see them.
Honestly, I’m also in a bit of a weird place with New York City right now, so it was nice to be in the suburbs for an afternoon. We are so lucky to live in Manhattan, but it can be overwhelming at times. We’re going on a little getaway for Presidents’ Weekend, and I’m really looking forward to it. We don’t really have plans, just enjoying a change of scenery and some more space for a few days. I’m hoping it will be the recharge I need. Anyway, hope your week is off to a great start!
