The best pieces are the ones that can be dressed up or down. These silky scalloped shorts look great with a blouse and tights, but also pair well with a tee. I wore them for a casual brunch along with the denim hat I found on sale at Urban, and my polka dot Keds. A fashion lesson: The way to develop your personal style is to forget how things are “supposed to be worn,” get creative, and wear them how you want. Not every combination will work, but that’s okay. Just remember, you can never go wrong with polka dots!
