April and May have been nuts. This weekend was the first one in a long time when my husband and I were both home (and of course, it was jam-packed). We have a lot to celebrate this spring, and although it’s been a lot of fun, I’m definitely looking forward to sleeping in my own bed for most of June!
Our last trip was to Pittsburgh for a friend’s wedding. The rehearsal dinner was at a very nice restaurant with a beautiful view of the city. We snuck away for a few minutes to snap these photos at a nearby overlook. Although I usually opt for A-line or fit and flare style dresses, every once in a while I like to push myself outside my comfort zone and wear something more form-fitting. This bright blue sheath dress is a favorite of the husband, and it was his idea to wear it for this particular occasion. Full disclosure: I was wearing Spanx, but I felt pretty good, so it was definitely the right choice!
