When we decided to schlep to Central Park to see the trees in bloom last weekend, it occurred to me that I should try to shoot more than one outfit. But, not all public bathrooms are open, and I don’t have a pop-up tent like when I shoot with professional photographers. That meant I had to figure out what I could change into in public without flashing all of New York City. I was wearing this outfit, so I decided that an easy, breezy black & white maxi dress was the best solution. Fortunately, I’ve been wanting to wear this one for a while…and it all worked out. Rob thought this dress was a little tent-like, but I appreciate the extra room right now. It’s also not so loose that it’s unflattering, and I love the print. I found a few similar non-maternity options, and they’re linked below.
I haven’t been carrying a handbag much in the last year, but I just ordered this one from Amazon the Drop. It’s a staple, so it stays in stock longer than some of the limited collection items. Although it’s small, it holds a wallet, phone and hand sanitizer…what else do you need? It’s also only $39, but I think it looks a lot more expensive.
This week has been a little rough. Now that I’m in the third trimester, it’s getting real. We have a lot of things to consider and sometimes it feels overwhelming. I also haven’t been sleeping well, and as a result, I feel crappy during the day. I added another pillow to my bedtime situation, so hopefully that helps. As I shared in my second trimester recap, there’s a lot to look forward to, so I’m just trying to focus on that! Hope you’re having a great week!
