Yesterday was a very New York City day! I went to work for the morning and then escaped the office with a few co-workers to take advantage of Restaurant Week. We had lunch at Park Avenue (Summer), a beautiful restaurant that changes their decor and their menu each season. I was there for drinks for a friend’s birthday in the winter, and it was amazing to see how much the place transformed. The Restaurant Week menu was great and I especially loved the corn gnocchi appetizer!
After work, my friend Mackenzie and I headed across town to Charming Charlie. They just launched a new collection in partnership with my favorite magazine, People StyleWatch. Everything was super cute, in reds, blacks, leopard print…and Frenchies! And because it’s Charming Charlie, it’s affordable. I linked to some of my favorites below, so definitely check them out!
I love this contrast of black & blush. Black can be a little harsh in summer, but light colors balance it out. For my pear shape, an A-line pleated midi skirt is super flattering and this one is definitely a favorite. Also, have you noticed how long my hair has gotten?! I’m actually loving it and I think my curls are looking better than ever. The true test will be when I get back into blowing it out and straightening when the weather cools down. What do you think? Worth keeping it long?
