This lightweight white button-down is the essential summer layer I didn’t know I needed. I love this one in particular because it looks like linen, but isn’t. That means it doesn’t wrinkle as soon as you put it on, which is a major perk. It comes in a few colors too and has great texture. You could also wear it open with a cute top underneath, or over a bathing suit with shorts for that post-beach drink. Also, I’m very into everything drawstring waist right now, and these shorts are fantastic. They still look polished, but they’re comfortable. I think some people may shy away from an outfit like this (and shorts in general) when pregnant, which I understand. But, my approach to my maternity style has been the same as always: wear what makes you feel good!
When we were shooting these photos, Rob was commenting on how I don’t really look pregnant from the front…but whoa, is the side a different story. We’re at 34 weeks with weekly doctor’s appointments, and some serious nesting going on at home. I mentioned Monday that we had our virtual family celebration last weekend. This weekend is the friends version, and I can’t wait to see everyone! Yes, I’m a little sad that it can’t be in person, but this will be the first time since our wedding that so many friends from different places and times in our lives will be together. At this point in pregnancy, I also appreciate being able to attend events from my couch!
