Summer is chock full of fun activities, from baseball games, to beach days, to backyard BBQs. You need accessories that are versatile enough to mutli-task, and you want to have options without breaking the bank. No problem. The three key categories for summer accessories are hats, sunglasses and totes. Protect yourself from the sun and look cute doing it in a straw hat or baseball cap. (FYI: It took me a while to find a straw hat that I liked, so just be patient if you’re not loving the ones you’ve seen.) Sunglasses also come in tons of options, which look good on a variety of face shapes. The trend seems to be towards bigger and bigger frames, and while I love my oversized pair (see: below and many of my outfit posts), I also think a classic pair of Wayfarers is a closet staple in all seasons. If you don’t want to spring for Ray-Bans, check out the bargain pair below. For summer totes, durable canvas is king. Go for a preppy stripe and lots of storage. Straw is great for summer bags too, and woven fabrics also work well. All of the options below are $50 and under, so get shopping!
Hats: Fedora (American Eagle), Floppy (J.Crew), Baseball (Forever 21)
Sunnies: Aviator (LOFT), Oversized (Kate Spade Saturday), Wayfarers (Urban Outfitters)
Totes: Red Stripe (Old Navy), Straw (H&M), Blue Stripe (Gap)
I love it all! Those two striped totes are excellent, can never resist stripes. Great post!

Thanks, Sarah! I was very tempted to include all striped totes, but I figured I should diversify a little bit
