As someone with unconventional proportions, custom clothing is the perfect solution. The problem is that it usually costs an arm and a leg, and the process can be complicated. Fortunately, there are websites like eShakti that make clothing tailored just for your body without depleting your bank account. This plaid number is actually a dress, but I decided to layer chambray over the top. To avoid having my petite frame swimming in multiple layers, I knotted my shirt at the exact place the defined waistband of the dress would be if I wore it alone. With the combination of denim, plaid and rope-soled shoes, I felt a little bit country in this outfit, but there’s nothing wrong with that!

I especially love that necklace!
Thanks, Kate!
