Having cute winter accessories makes the cold a little more bearable. So does finding ways to change up your outerwear, like Michelle Obama did on Inauguration Day. You may recognize this coat from an earlier post, but this time I added the faux-fur collar that had come with it. With the collar, it was so warm and fuzzy that I didn’t need a scarf.
It was chilly out when I took these pictures, so I put on my adorable Kate Spade striped hat. I love the black and white stripes with the pop of color in the bow! My mom found this hat for me at a KS Outlet store a couple of years ago. See where I get my bargain shopping skills?! Although my hat is no longer on the market, you can easily find a striped hat and add a bow yourself. Etsy has tons of choices. As for gloves, my go-to are gray “glittens” that I got at Gap a season or two ago. They have a crystal button that fastens the mitten part back, and they keep my hands warm and toasty. What do you wear to accessorize in the cold temps?
