I have to admit, I’m not usually one for breaking rules, but when it comes to wearing white after Labor Day, that’s one rule I’m happy to ignore! In my opinion, you can wear white all year long, you just have to be thoughtful about how you style it. Instead of sleeveless tops and sandals, pair your white jeans with a sweater or sweatshirt and mules for fall. This top looks like two layers, but it’s actually only one, and super comfortable! I love the combination of blue and white, and although I used to avoid black and blue together, I actually like how my black shoes and sunglasses look with this outfit. What do you think? Should certain colors/color combinations be limited to specific seasons? Would you wear white after Labor Day?
This is what I wore for dinner with family last Saturday night. Although summer weather is holding on as long as possible, I was glad that it got cool enough to wear long sleeves. This has been an exciting first week at my new job, but I’m definitely ready for the weekend. We have some plans, but we’re staying in town, so I’m hoping we’ll find a little time to relax!

I’ll be wearing white after Labor Day… for my wedding, that is! But beyond that, I never wear white, actually, so I don’t feel like this so-called rule impacts me much. Black on black on black foreverrrr! (PS: Love this top.)
