Two Years

It’s hard to believe, but it was two years ago today that I started this blog! What began as a passion project and a creative outlet has become an integral part of my life. The past year has been one of tremendous change for me, and having this blog as a constant has meant more than I realized. Although there are times when I doubt myself and wonder if maybe I’m not cool or exciting enough, I truly enjoy sharing my style perspective with all of you.

One thing about style blogging is that it’s very easy to get caught up in the comparison game. There are A LOT of fashion blogs out there, many of them “more successful” than mine. But, I am incredibly proud of how far I’ve come. I take pictures on the streets of New York City and I post them on the Internet for all to see. As an introvert, this is no small feat. I’m also a lot more comfortable in my body and I’ve become much more adventurous in my style choices. Today’s outfit is the perfect example of taking risks, embracing your shape, and finding clothes that make you feel good!

One of the best parts about blogging is interacting with my readers. As I look ahead to year three of La Petite Pear, I want to continue to grow and provide the content that you want to see.
