Textured Sweater

One of the best things about the fashion world always being ahead a season is that winter clothing and accessories go on sale when there’s still time to wear them. As excited as I am for spring, I’m glad I got to wear this textured sweater for a fun night in with friends this weekend. I love the lace-up details on the sides and it paired well with boyfriend jeans and sparkly booties.

On Saturday night, we hosted a little get-together. Everyone brought an app or dessert and we had a small bites potluck. We’re fortunate to have a great group of friends in the city, and we’re all more than happy to hang out at someone’s place instead of a crowded bar. This weekend, the guys finished some bourbon from one of their bachelor parties in Kansas City, and they talked about how they want to try a whiskey from every state. Ambitious, aren’t they?!  The wedding’s in May (one of five for us!), so whether they accomplish their goal or not, there will definitely be a lot of celebrating!
