One of the shopping skills I’m most proud of is being able to go into stores like Forever 21 and H&M and find the things that are good quality and age-appropriate. They have large inventories, and an endless supply of cheap jewelry, but they’re also super budget-friendly. So, when I’m looking for a trendy item that I don’t want to invest in, these stores are my go-tos.
The crop top in this post was a recent Forever 21 find. I love that it’s on the longer side and flows instead of clings. It was the perfect match for a pair of white denim scalloped shorts, and a creative twist on the classic tank and cutoffs combination that is a summer staple. Pro Tip: pick up a bandeau or bralette for underneath crop tops and loose tanks. They come in so many colors, patterns and fabrics, and they’re not as constricting as a strapless bra.
